I doubt there is any one rejection like that will work on all men in all circumstances. Some will think of lesbians as existing for men's viewing pleasure, as they do in most straight porn. Some men will see it as a cause for her to not be interested in men. I kind of regret using that as an example now, because really, each case is going to be different, and the point isn't the specifics, it's just about how men will more easily back off from any deflection that protects them from difficult introspection.
