I think you’re absolutely right when you point out that many men claim they want honesty, but then can’t handle it when it’s offered. It has taken me a long, long time to be able to accept that when a woman is rejecting me, it’s for exactly who I am, but that’s okay, because it only means I’m not for her, not being rejected by all women through any one individual.

If I could have reached that emotional maturity earlier, I would have saved myself, and many women, a lot of hassle.
